What Is a SAP Evaluation?
A Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluation is required by the Department of Transportation for safety-sensitive employees who have violated DOT drug and alcohol regulations. The SAP evaluates the employee, recommends education or treatment, and determines when the employee is ready to return to safety-sensitive duties. Our SAP services are conducted in accordance with applicable DOT regulations.
